This study evaluates the seismic performance of buildings using a nonlinear dynamic modeling approach to improve structural resilience against earthquakes. The analysis compares conventional linear elastic methods with nonlinear dynamic simulations to assess displacement, stress distribution, and energy dissipation. Results indicate that the nonlinear dynamic approach yields lower maximum displacement and stress while enhancing energy dissipation, demonstrating superior seismic resistance. The study also highlights the practical implications for earthquake-resistant design and regulatory frameworks. Future research should incorporate real-time structural monitoring and artificial intelligence-based optimization to enhance prediction accuracy and structural adaptability.
