About the Journal

Journal of Civil Engineering and Architecture (JRSA) is a scientific journal that publishes research findings and academic studies in the fields of civil engineering and architecture. JRSA is published by Universitas Sains dan Teknologi Komputer (UNIVERSITAS STEKOM), Semarang City. The journal aims to serve as a platform for academics, researchers, and practitioners to share knowledge, innovations, and experiences that contribute to the advancement of science and technology in both disciplines.

JRSA covers a wide range of topics, including structural engineering, transportation engineering, hydraulics, geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering, architectural design, urban planning, architectural history, as well as the integration of civil engineering and architecture in building and infrastructure design. In addition, the journal highlights the application of innovative technologies and real-world case studies in practical projects.

JRSA is published twice a year, in February and July. All published articles undergo a peer-review process to ensure high scientific quality and academic contribution.

As a journal oriented toward academic development, JRSA accepts manuscripts in the form of research articles, literature reviews, and case studies relevant to the fields of civil engineering and architecture.

The journal is expected to serve as a valuable reference for academics, professionals, and stakeholders in understanding the latest developments in civil engineering and architecture.

Vol. 2 No. 2 (2026): JULI: Jurnal Rekayasa Sipil dan Arsitektur (JRSA)

Jurnal Rekayasa Sipil dan Arsitektur (JRSA) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by Universitas Sains dan Teknologi Komputer (UNIVERSITAS STEKOM), Semarang, Indonesia. The journal publishes original research, literature reviews, and case studies in civil engineering and architecture, covering structural engineering, transportation, hydraulics, geotechnics, environmental engineering, architectural design, urban planning, building and infrastructure development, as well as emerging technologies relevant to the built environment. JRSA is published twice a year, in February and July.

Volume 2, Number 2 presents studies addressing current developments in civil engineering and architecture, including artificial intelligence and cloud-based structural analysis, Generative AI and Building Information Modeling (BIM), Digital Twin and Internet of Things (IoT) for structural monitoring, urban drainage and flood-risk assessment, deep learning for road damage detection, multi-criteria optimization of construction materials, and decision-support methods for infrastructure maintenance prioritization. Collectively, these studies reflect the increasing integration of digital technologies, computational methods, sustainability, and data-driven approaches in contemporary civil engineering and architectural research.
